We can accommodate anyone’s schedule and customize a rewarding “Total Wetland Experience.” Scheduling occurs on short notice so the website is not always current. Please note regional preferences and whether weekdays or weekends preferred.

Waterfowl Festival at the Visitor Center in Black Hill Regional Park. MWDI presentation. Scott Jasion will give a 45 minute talk on the Wood duck nest box program. Bring the whole family for a day filled with activities, demonstrations, and exhibits to celebrate the wondrous water birds that call Little Seneca Lake home during the winter or year round. Try your hand at carving a decoy. Make a bird bonnet to look like a hooded merganser or a bufflehead. Learn about wood duck nest box program and other citizen science initiatives. Join guided birding excursions to catch a glimpse of marine ducks, swans, and maybe even the Black Hill eagles! Sunday, February 9, 2014. 12-4pm, all ages.
