Chris Swarth is a wetland ecologist and ornithologist. Since 1989 he has been the Director of the Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary in Lothian, Maryland. At the Sanctuary, he also oversees a corps of about 350 research and education volunteers, and is mentor to two to three university research interns every summer. Read more...

Kriste Garman has worked in the natural resource management and environmental education fields for 23 years, working for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in Maryland and Virginia, and the Baltimore County Department of Recreation and Parks and the Harford County Department of Parks and Recreation in Maryland.  Previously a Park Naturalist at the Anita C. Leight Estuary Center Kriste was named Acting Park Manager in November 2010 and Park Manager in April 2011. Read more...
