For Students

Estuaries are an incredible resource for learning about the environment and the way in which humans influence that environment. Whether you are looking for data for an assignment or research project, an enriching summer experience, internships or future career ideas, CBNERR-MD and the NERRS are excellent places to start.

On the education links page there are some links to general information about estuaries, available data, ways to get involved and other resources that you may find helpful.

The CBNERR-MD component’s web sites  (Otter Point Creek, Jug Bay Wetland Sanctuary, Jug Bay Natural Area at Patuxent River Park, and Monie Bay) are also excellent sources of information and opportunities.
