Final report detailing large scale eelgrass restoration on the Potomac and Patuxent Rivers.
April 2011 - Maryland Bay Grasses down 15% in 2010. Bay grasses in
Maryland’s portion of the Chesapeake Bay and its rivers covered approximately
40,193 acres in 2010, down from 47,294 acres in 2009. This represents 35% of
Maryland’s 114,000-acre bay grass restoration goal.
