Examples of Clean Marina Practices
- No sand blasting. When cleaning, sanding, scraping or painting the use of catch cloth covering the area is required. The chips, dust, debris for cleaning or painting is collected in a drum then taking to Installation Hazmat for disposal
- No collection of fluids (oil, anti-freeze, hydraulics, etc): All patrons must take fluids off the installation to collection sites.
- Discharging of gray water and sewage is not allowed. There is a pump out system for patrons.
- There is a hazmat pollution control plan in practice for any accidental spills.
