
Join the Maryland Forest Service’s Centennial Celebration - Become a CenTREEnial School
The Maryland Forest Service invites all the schools in Maryland to join us in
our 100th Celebration by becoming a CenTREEnial School. Just complete the
Centennial Urban Forestry patch program during 2006. This is a great way of
supplementing your Arbor Day and Earth Day celebrations.
So come join the celebration! For 100 years, the Maryland Forest Service has
been assisting Maryland citizens with their forest resources’ needs. The
Centennial Urban Forestry patch program can easily be used by teachers of all
grades. It’s a fun and easy way to teach Maryland school children about
Maryland’s trees and forests.
In order to show your new Centennial Spirit, the school will receive a
certificate and patch suitable for framing and display.
