Hunting and Gathering - Connecting to our Ancestors
Hunting and gathering activities are a powerful connection to the way our ancestors co-existed with nature.
When children look for pinecones, sticks, stones, leaves, worms, insects or toads, it is like hunting for treasure in nature. Once gathered, children will use their imagination to create structures or miniature worlds or make friends with a bug.
