DNR Celebrates Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Holiday program set for January 16

ANNAPOLIS, MD — The Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Office of Fair Practices will be sponsoring a “Dr. Martin L. King, Jr. Holiday Program” on Friday, Jan. 16, 2004, at noon in the C-1 Conference Room of the Tawes State Office Building, 580 Taylor Avenue in Annapolis.

The public is cordially invited to attend this event, which is free of charge. The keynote speakers will be Dr. Ruby Reese Moone, president of the Maryland State Chapter of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) and national SCLC board member, and Vincent Leggett, special projects coordinator for DNR’s Watershed Services. A videotape on Dr. King’s lifetime contributions to American society will be shown. Refreshments will be served.
