DNR To Hold Workshop On Fisheries, Wildlife Issues For Outdoor Writers

C-1 CONFERENCE ROOM, TAWES STATE OFFICE BUILDING, ANNAPOLISANNAPOLIS In an effort to keep journalists who specialize in outdoor recreation, wildlife and fisheries issues abreast of emerging issues, the Maryland Department of Natural Resources will host a outdoor writers workshop on Feb. 10, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the C-1 Conference Room of the Tawes State Office Building in Annapolis.
DNR Secretary C. Ronald Franks, Deputy Secretary William P. Pete Jensen and Assistant Secretary for Forest, Parks, Fish & Wildlife will attend the luncheon portion of the workshop.
Topics will be centered around fisheries issues, with an additional 15-minute briefing on wildlife issues pertaining to the current legislative session.
