DNR To Hold Workshop On Fisheries, Wildlife Issues For Outdoor Writers

C-1 CONFERENCE ROOM, TAWES STATE OFFICE BUILDING, ANNAPOLIS

ANNAPOLIS — In an effort to keep journalists who specialize in outdoor recreation, wildlife and fisheries issues abreast of emerging issues, the Maryland Department of Natural Resources will host a outdoor writers workshop on Feb. 10, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the C-1 Conference Room of the Tawes State Office Building in Annapolis.

DNR Secretary C. Ronald Franks, Deputy Secretary William P. “Pete” Jensen and Assistant Secretary for Forest, Parks, Fish & Wildlife will attend the luncheon portion of the workshop.

Topics will be centered around fisheries issues, with an additional 15-minute briefing on wildlife issues pertaining to the current legislative session.
