Natural Resources Police to Honor Recently Promoted Officers

 

What:           The Natural Resources Police (NRP), the law enforcement arm of the Department of Natural Resources (DNR), will honor 21 of its officers from around the state who have been recently promoted. The officers will be receiving certificates and the badges, which denote their new rank on their uniforms.

 

                        The promotions become effective Wednesday, April 14.

                       

Who:             DNR Secretary C. Ronald Franks will be attending the ceremony along with Deputy Secretary W. Pete Jensen and Assistant Secretary for Management Services Mark Belton.

 

NRP Cpt. Randy Witter will be the emcee for the evening and NRP Ofc. Raymond Griggs will give the invocation and benediction.

 

When:          Thursday, April 15, 7 to 9 PM

 

Where:       Calvary United Methodist Church, 301 Rowe Blvd, next to the Tawes State Office Building.
