2004 Qualification Shoots Scheduled For Managed Hunts
ANNAPOLIS, MD — The Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) announced today its schedule for this year’s shooter qualification sessions, which provide hunters opportunities to demonstrate shooting proficiency.
Shooting proficiency is a requirement that hunters must meet to be eligible to hunt on certain county, state, and federal lands during managed hunts. Many of the facilities hosting these sessions charge a $5 fee, and some charge a separate fee to participate in an actual hunt. The table below lists the qualification sessions currently scheduled.
