Register Now For The “Becoming An Outdoors Woman” Deer Clinic
ANNAPOLIS — Registration is now open for the “Becoming an Outdoors-Woman” (BOW) Deer Clinic. The event will be held in Charles County at Blossom Point on Oct 29-30.
This workshop is designed for women who have never participated in hunting white-tailed deer or have very little experience. The first day will be spent on basic hunting techniques, deer biology and behavior as well as providing an overview of deer management in Maryland. Participants will be given hands on instruction including tree stand safety, field dressing and proper care game.
The fee for the course is $40, which includes lunch both days and instruction. All participants will be required to pass a shooter qualification on Friday and must posses a valid Maryland Hunting License.
