DNR Continues Fall Trout Stocking

ANNAPOLIS — The Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Fisheries Service announced today that its crews are on the verge of completing the 2004 fall trout-stocking program. Anglers should check the Maryland Freshwater Sportfishing Guide for the regulations that apply to particular waters.

Mixed in the loads delivered this second week are a few golden trout. These fish, sometimes called palominos, are a color phase of rainbows. The following areas received trout; special areas are indicated.
