DNR Announces Public Meeting for Chesapeake Forest Lands
Public encouraged to attend Nov. 18 meeting
SALISBURY -- The Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) will hold a meeting to discuss and receive public comment on the draft Chesapeake Forest Sustainable Forest Management Plan on Thursday, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m. in the Montgomery Room of the Commons Building at Salisbury University. Copies of the draft plan and access to the online public meeting can be found at: http://www.dnr.state.md.us/forests/sf_mgt_plan_index.aspIn addition to verbal comments at the meeting, the public can also participate in the online public meeting found on the DNR website.
