Ad Space for Sale In Annual Guide to Hunting and Trapping
ANNAPOLIS – The Maryland Department of Natural Resources is offering businesses, organizations and others a means to reach an exclusive audience of hunters and trappers through advertising space available now in the 2005-2006 Guide to Hunting and Trapping in Maryland.

The 56-page black-and-white guide is issued to every hunter or trapper annually and offers specific requirements to hunt or trap each game species in the state. Ad space is for sale on a first come first served basis to qualifying organizations. Ads promoting political advocacy or ads regarding alcohol, tobacco and/or ads of a sexual nature will not be accepted.

Ad rates range from $300 for a 1/8th page ad up to $3,500 for a full-paged ad. The revenue generated is used to offset the printing costs associated with the guide.

This year’s printing has been increased to 250,000 copies of the guide due to an increased demand for the publication.

For information on purchasing advertising space, contact Karina Blizzard at 410-260-8559 or kblizzard@dnr.state.md.us.
