DNR Inland Fisheries Holds Online Forum to Receive Public Comments on 2006 Regulations
ANNAPOLIS – The Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Inland Fisheries Division announced today that regulation proposals for 2006 are available for the first time in an online forum. The public may review these proposals and provide comments to the Department from now until 4 p.m. on May 20.
Public hearings are held each spring for regulations for the coming year. The open online forum was added as another way in which the public can provide input on these proposals. The forum can be viewed at the following link: http://www.dnr.maryland.gov/fisheries/regulations/inland_pchanged.asp
DNR Inland Fisheries Division management activities are supported by the Sportfish Restoration Program (Dingell-Johnson/Wallop-Breaux) funds, and by fees from the sale of freshwater fishing licenses and trout stamps.
