Maryland Park Service Reminds Public to Play it Safe This Summer

Prompted by recent accidents that resulted in serious injury for one person and the death of three others, Maryland Park Service (MPS) staff is reminding visitors to play it safe this summer while enjoying the great outdoors in Maryland’s 49 state parks. Paying attention to posted rules and regulations about swimming and hiking in state parks is the best way to enjoy your visit.
