Licenses Now Required for Waterfowl Hunting Guides & Outfitters
According to recently finalized regulations, waterfowl hunting guides (individuals paid to accompany hunters in the field) and waterfowl outfitters (formerly called the master hunting guide) are now required to be licensed. The new regulations (available at http://www.dnr.state.md.us/wildlife/mhgpermit.asp) establish standardized application procedures, qualifications, record-keeping requirements, and certain restrictions for the two professional categories.
