Black Bear Hunting Permit Lottery Ends Aug. 31
There are less than two weeks left for interested hunters to apply for a chance to join in the second annual Maryland Black Bear Hunt. Two hundred permits will be issued, and applicants currently have a 1 in 7 chance of being selected to participate. DNR is working with interested landowners and hunters to identify hunting opportunities on private lands.
