NRP Arrests Hollywood Man for Allegedly Stealing Sailboat

Saturday, Sept. 3, NRP arrested Abraham M. Gilliam, 27, of Hollywood, in St. Michaels, Talbot County, for allegedly stealing a $170,000 sail boat. The vessel, a 37-foot Jeanneau Sun Odyessy, was reported stolen from Baltimore County sometime between August 28 and 29. NRP charged Gilliam with theft over $500, a felony, subject to imprisonment not exceeding 15 years, a fine not exceeding $25,000, or both.
