BPW Approves $444,750 in Program Open Space Funds to Prince George’s County
On Wednesday, Sept. 21, the Board of Public Works approved $444,750 in Program Open Space funds to Prince George’s County for projects at Kentland Community Center Park (junior golf learning center) and Mt. Rainier Nature Center (construction of additional parking, sidewalks and landscaping), and for the acquisition of a 5,250-square foot lot on the historic block surrounding the Riversdale Historic Site.
