NRP Suspends Search for Three Men Near Hart Miller Island

The Maryland Natural Resources Police (NRP) today suspended the search for three men who had allegedly been involved in a boat theft near Hart-Miller Island Monday night. Two men, Edwin Joseph Beam, 33, and Dennis Charles McDaniels, 32, both of Dundalk, who were arrested an taken into custody on Tuesday for stealing a 27-foot Bayliner from the Key Yacht Club, and had originally said there were three additional men involved in the crime. Today, Beam and McDaniels admitted to NRP that they had fabricated the story of the three accomplices.
