DNR Biologist Chris Millard Joins Lance Armstrong on Tour of Hope
Chris Millard, a fisheries biologist at Maryland DNR and a cancer survivor, is one of 24 riders selected to join Lance Armstrong on the Tour of Hope, a cross-country bike ride to promote cancer awareness. The 9-day trip began on Sept. 29 in San Diego and ends Oct. 8 in Washington, D.C. A main goal of this event is to inspire as many people as possible to "Make the Promise," a commitment to learn more about cancer in support of cancer research.
