Tourism Professionals to Participate in Assateague Beach Clean Up
As a part of the Maryland Governor’s Tourism Industry Conference in Ocean City this weekend, tourism professionals will learn about shore conservation and help clean the beach at Assateague State Park Monday, Oct. 17, at 1:15 p.m. Media are welcome to join the tour starting with activities at the Assateague State Park’s Nature Center. At 2:45 p.m., the group will depart for Assateague Island National Seashore where a canoe tour will launch from the Old Ferry Landing site, concluding by 4:00 p.m.
