NRP Respond To ATV Accident in State Forest
Saturday evening at 5:40 p.m., Maryland Natural Resources Police (NRP) responded to Green Ridge State Forest for an ATV accident that sent a Highland man to the hospital. Flintstone rescue squad transported Christopher John Fanning, 48, to Cumberland Memorial Hospital in critical condition. Fanning was operating his ATV on a designated trail, has an ORV permit registering his ATV with DNR, and was wearing his helmet at the time of the accident.
