BPW Awards $242,950 for Ocean City Beach Replenishment

Wednesday, Oct, 19, the Board of Public Works approved $242,950 toward the monitoring and maintaining of the Ocean City Beach Replenishment Project. A portion of the funds ($133,950) will be used as a match with funds provided by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for monitoring efforts, including surveys and analysis of current conditions. The balance ($109,000) will be used for emergency work needed to repair storm damage.
