BPW Awards $1,818,441 in Program Open Space Funds to Howard County
Wednesday, Nov. 16, the Board of Public Works approved $1,818,441 in Program Open Space funds to Howard County for further development of three parks: North Laurel Community Park for acquisition of eight remaining building lots totaling 23 acres of park land; Western Regional Park for development including athletic fields, court games, picnic areas and equestrian trail; and Meadowbrook Park for construction of four baseball fields, two tennis courts, two basketball courts, two playgrounds, two comfort stations, pathways, roads, parking and a gymnasium.
