Board of Public Works Approves $131,813 Sale of Property in Youghiogheny Wild and Scenic River Corridor
On Wednesday, Nov. 30, the Board of Public Works approved the $131,813 sale of the Frazee property within the Youghigheny Wild and Scenic River corridor. The corridor was established to protect the unique cultural and recreational resources of the Youghigheny and its tributaries which are unequaled by any river in Maryland. The parcel being acquired consists of 41.193 acres of unimproved land and completes State ownership of lands between Sang Run and Friendsville on the east side of the river.
