NRP Charge Princess Anne Man with Hunting at Night
On Dec. 9, Maryland Natural Resources Police (NRP) charged Arthur S. Bennett Jr., 52, of Princess Anne with hunting at nighttime with a light on Champ Road at 5:45 p.m. NRP seized as evidence a rifle, a shotgun, a handheld spotlight and ammunition from Bennett’s vehicle during the incident. A person found guilty of this offense could receive a maximum fine of $1500, may lose the privilege to hunt in the state for a period of 2 to 5 years, and/or may have all evidence seized forfeited to the state.
