BPW Approves $197,213 in Program Open Space Funds for Garrett County
On January 3, Governor Robert L. Ehrlich, Jr. announced that the Board of Public Works approved $197,213 in Program Open Space funds for Garrett County for three development projects. Kitzmiller Community Park will receive $52,110 for the upgrade of the school’s playground. Garrett County Dennett Road Elementary School will receive $67,500 to replace the existing playground equipment. Garrett County Accident Elementary School Playground will receive $77,603 to install new pre-kindergarten playground equipment and a basketball court with adjustable backboards.
