Maryland DNR Hosts 30th Southeastern Deer Study Group Conference

ANNAPOLIS – The Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Wildlife Service will host the 30th Annual Southeastern Deer Study Group February 25-27, 2007 at the Princess Royale Hotel and Conference Center in Ocean City. The annual event is open to deer management professionals and enthusiasts alike.

Hosted on a rotating basis by a different southeastern state wildlife agency’s deer management section, the conference provides deer biologists, managers and researchers a venue for presenting their most recent findings on deer biology and management. Maryland previously hosted the event in 1992, the largest annual meeting of its kind across the Southeast.

Registration fees and donations fund this popular conference.
