Public Invited To Join Maryland’s First Lady for 2007 Bay Game Kickoff
ANNAPOLIS – On Saturday morning at Annapolis City Dock, Maryland’s first lady Judge Katie O’Malley will be joined by Bay supporters, special guests, and young people to formally kick-off the 2007 Maryland Bay Game. The popular natural resources activity book has helped turn kids’ restless energy during summer travel into a fun, creative, educational experience for nearly a decade. This year’s game features the travels of Captain John Smith – who will be making an appearance -- and his exploration and mapping of the Chesapeake Bay 400 years ago. To ensure all Maryland young people have an opportunity to enjoy this summer tradition, this year’s game will be available at public libraries and visitor centers across the state. The public is invited to attend and bring the kids! June 23, 10:00 AM, Susan B. Campbell Park. Program begins at 10:30.
