DNR Offers Fall Outdoors Workshop For Women

ANNAPOLIS, MD — The Maryland Department of Natural Resources fall Becoming an Outdoors Woman workshop will take place October 5-7, 2007. This exciting series is designed to educate women 18 years of age and older – including the outdoor novice, beginners who hope to improve their skills and those seeking the camaraderie of like-minded individuals -- about outdoor recreational activities Class offerings include outdoor photography, stream ecology, hunting basics, fly fishing, hiking, kayaking, outdoor survival skills and more.

Workshops cost $175.00 if participants register on or before September 24, 2007. A limited number of scholarships are available. The enrollment limit is 100 so register early!
