Bidding Open For Trapping Privileges On Select Eastern Maryland Wildlife Management Areas

Vienna —  The Maryland Department of Natural Resources Wildlife and Heritage Service is currently accepting bids for the 2008-2009 trapping seasons at LeCompte, Linkwood, Taylor’s Island, Fishing Bay, Idylwild, Ellis Bay and Nanticoke Wildlife Management Areas. Bid packages may only be picked up at LeCompte Wildlife Management Area (4220 Steeles Neck Road, Vienna, Md. 21869) and must also be submitted there by 12 noon on October 24, 2008. Sealed bids will be opened at 1 p.m. on October 24, 2008 to determine the individual with the highest bid.
