Deadline to Apply for Waterfront Hunting Blind Licenses is June 1
Annapolis, Md. (May 11, 2009) – The deadline is approaching for riparian (waterfront) property owners to apply for a license to establish stationary water fowl blinds or blind sites. Anyone who owns waterfront property or has permission from the property owner needs to submit an application by mail by June 1. The licensee can also prevent others from licensing the shoreline at a later date.Riparian property owners may license their shoreline for a period of one year for $20 or three years for $60. Landowners who miss the June 1 deadline may participate in the “open” licensing process that begins Aug. 4, 2009.
