2011-12 Trapping Bid Packets Now Available for Select
DNR-Managed Properties on Lower Eastern Shore
Princess Anne, Md. (September 29, 2011) ― The Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Wildlife and Heritage Service is currently accepting bids for the 2011-2012 trapping season for Johnson Wildlife Management Area, Janes Island State Park and Hickory Point Natural Heritage Area.
Applicants may pick up bid packages at the Wellington WMA office (32733 Dublin Road, Princess Anne, Md. 21853) or at the Salisbury Regional Service Center (201 Baptist Street, Suite 22, Salisbury, Md. 21801).
Applicants must return completed, sealed bids to the Salisbury Regional Service Center by 12:00 p.m. on October 28, 2011. DNR will award annual trapping leases to the highest bidder, as determined during the bid opening, to be held at 1 p.m. on October 28, 2011.
