Ocean Side Fishing Report
The surf water temperature presently is barely above 40-degrees; a bit cold except for the hardiest tautog and rest assure our buddies the spiny dogfish. There are tautog out on the wreck sites and a few private boats have been venturing out on favorable days to find them. This may be the week that the first tautog begin to show up at the Ocean City Inlet. The recommendations for Maryland summer flounder season have been made at 3 flounder @ 18” from April 15th thru September 13th.

Don't hesitate to e-mail your recent
fishing/crabbing photos and trip information. Send your photos via E-mail by the
following Monday in order to be included in the next update. The file should be
in .jpg format with the longest side sized at 600 pixels. Please keep the file
size under one megabyte if possible. The photo should clearly depict the angler(s), fish, and ethical
handling practices. For information on ethical angling practices please
