Good Variety

Type: Tidal
Region: Central
Location: Fort Washington

It was a fun day in Fort Washington on Saturday, May 31. We caught a good variety of fish. A few White Perch, a nice size Largemouth Bass, a few Striped Bass, a Bluegill, and a blue cat. All were catch and release except the blue cat, that will be dinner. They were hitting early but slowed down around lunchtime.

DNR - I was pulling a lot of these up too. Are these clams?

DNR Response: It could be a freshwater mussel but it's hard to tell for sure from the photo.

Best Fight Ever

Type: Tidal
Region: Southern
Location: Beveerky Beach

On Friday 5/23/2014, we went fishing in the Beverly Beach Ponds. We call the spot, "The Honey Hole". Misť caught this huge Carp with a blood worm. We weren't trying for carp but it was the best fight ever! I really wish we could've measured it!
