Black Friday Fishing

Type: Chesapeake
Region: Upper Bay
Location: Carroll Island and Maxwell's Point

We went out fishing on Black Friday instead of going shopping. It turned out be a good choice. We put in at Dundee Creek Marina around 12 and headed out towards Carroll Island. I caught a 19" rockfish on a small 2" grub I was using to try and catch some perch. A nice catch on an ultra light.

Then we headed up the Gunpowder and my son got a inch 20 inch rockfish on a Rapala near Maxwell's Point. The tide was running very high and when we got back to the marina it was almost over the pier. I've never seen the tide this high.
