Eastern Shore Pond Success

Type: Freshwater
Region: Eastern
Location: Small Eastern Shore Lake

My son and I made a long trek from Hagerstown to a small eastern shore lake with a friend who goes there regularly to try for some bass, pickerel and crappie. The fishing was tough, but my son Carson managed to get his personal best pickerel and largemouth bass. The lake contains various shiners and shad and these fell to a good 'ol rattle trap. All fish were released unharmed. We had the lake to ourselves all day.
