Ocean City Action

Type: Coast
Region: Eastern
Location: Oceanic Pier

On Thursday night, September 19th under a glorious full moon, I fished from Oceanic Pier on the bay side of Ocean City Inlet. The action was pretty hot during the last of the incoming tide. Plenty of Snapper Bluefish and smaller Hickory Shad were hitting my lures. The bite died a little right at high tide. Then, when the tide started to roll out, the fish became active again. This time I was surprised by two Weakfish in rapid succession. I kept my limit of one, this nice 14.5-incher. Within 20 minutes the current was actually too fast to fish anymore!
