Susquehanna Stripers

Type: Tidal
Region: North Eastern
Location: Susquehanna Flats

Went out fishing after work Monday afternoon with a couple of friends. It was a pretty slow day until around five o'clock, then all if a sudden all we saw were fish jumping as far as we could see. It was a big school of Striped Bass that came through feeding on schools of small fish, so we tossed out spoons and let them drop off of the structure and we caught some nice stripers. We caught our limit in like 10 minutes. My friend and I both caught two 18 inchers and another friend caught two 20 inchers off the Susquehanna Flats. It was so good that we went back Wednesday, but we didn't see any rock that day. My friends caught around 30 lbs of channel cat and one catfish we caught had a Yellow Perch about a third if it's size in its mouth.
