I recently went out on my new kayak last weekend and caught a few Hickory Shad in Deer Creek and this fish I think I've caught before but I'm not sure and curious what it is. I also went out to Lapidum boat launch and caught what I think is a Rock Bass but again I don't know. Also I was fishing a creek near where I live and caught a smaller minnow like fish that looks like the one from Deer Creek but smaller and a different color. I was wondering if you could Identify them for me?
DNR Response: Tylor, you are correct you caught a Rock Bass. The other larger fish is a Fallfish and the smaller minnow like fish is a River Chub.
