A feasibility study entitled, Bloede Dam Alternatives Analysis, evaluated actions to meet the project goals. DNR held an open house in June and conducted an open public comment period that ended August 31. During the public comment period, DNR received over 70 comments on the project. The majority of the comments were in favor of the preferred alternative: to remove Bloede Dam with passive sediment management. The public comment period generated a number of questions concerning the project.
