The Maryland Department of Natural Resources and the NOAA Chesapeake Bay Office will be hosting an informational meeting on derelict crab pots in the Chesapeake Bay. The public information meeting will be held at 6:00 pm on Monday, February 11, 2008 at the Tawes State Office Building in the C-1 conference room located at 580 Taylor Ave., Annapolis, MD.
The purpose of this meeting is to communicate information on current studies being conducted to assess the impacts of derelict crab pots on Bay living resources, and to discuss issues surrounding the recovery of derelict crab pots. All interested parties are invited to attend and participate.
