The Secretary of Maryland Department of Natural Resources pursuant to Code of Maryland Regulation 08.02.15.12(H) has announced re-opening of the 2009 striped bass commercial gill net fishery, effective 3 a.m. Monday, January 26, 2009 through 6:00 p.m. Thursday, January 29, 2009 with a 400 pound per permitted fisherman per day landing limit.

The striped bass gill net fishery will re-open February 2, 2009 with a 400 pound per permitted fisherman per day landing limit.
