27TH ANNUAL WHITE MARLIN OPEN
Winds were still coming from the southwest at 15 knots and seas were slightly bigger at 3 to 5 feet. The forth largest blue marlin in the 27 year history was caught by angler Joe Schwab of New Gretna, NJ. It took Joe 40 minutes to reel in this monster marlin that was caught on a green homemade lure. Later in the evening angler Don Wagner aboard "Reward" upset Marc Mosca's first place white marlin. Don caught a 71 pound white marlin. Brian Schaeffler took over first place in the dolphin category with a 48.5 pounder.

One marlin was boated and 28 were released.

Two blue marlin were boated and 5 released.

Four Sailfish were released.
