
Maryland Junior Hunter Certificate Program
The Maryland Department of Natural Resources'
Wildlife & Heritage Service will provide Junior
Hunters (age 16 and under) with a certificate
commemorating their deer, turkey, or bear taken
during the 2012 - 2013 hunting seasons. Each deer,
turkey, or bear can be taken to an official DNR
Junior Hunter Certificate Agent where the Junior
Hunter will receive an Information Card and a
Maryland Junior Hunter Decal such as the one
pictured above. The card can be used to order the
certificate. The certificate can also be ordered
online.
Photographs of Junior Hunters and their game can be included on the certificate. Photographs may also be published on the DNR website in Maryland's Junior Hunter Photo Gallery.
To apply for a Maryland Junior Hunter Certificate:
Visit a participating Junior Hunter Certificate Agent where the Junior Hunter will receive a Maryland Junior Hunter Information Card and Decal. Fill out and mail the pre-addressed Information Card. If you want a photo of the Junior Hunter and their game included on the Certificate send it along with the Card.

Complete the online Maryland Junior Hunter Certificate Form. If you want a photo included on the Certificate mail it to:

To have a photo of the Junior Hunter and their game posted on the DNR website in Maryland’s Junior Hunter Photo Gallery:
Mail the photo along with the completed, pre-addressed Information Card received from the Junior Hunter Certificate Agent. NOTE - A parent’s or guardian’s signature on the Card is required to post photographs on DNR’s website.

Download and fill out the Photo Release Form from the DNR website.

If you choose, you may mail the completed Photo Release Form and email the photo. To email the photo, send it to whenry@dnr.state.md.us
A photo release form is not required to place photographs on Junior Hunter Certificates only.
