9/4: Public Canoe Trip - Tuckahoe State Park Join park staff for an entertaining and educational guided canoe trip up Tuckahoe Creek. We will depart from the lakefront boathouse at 6 p.m. Reservations required; a minimum of 6 participants per trip. $6 for adults, $4 for children 14 and under, call 410-820-1668 for details and to make your reservation.
9/4 & 5: Apple Butter Boil - Swallow Falls State Park Come to Swallow Falls State Park and join the staff for an Appalachian Apple Butter Boil and corn roast. Enjoy arts, crafts and music while stirring apple butter. Build a blue bird box with Steve Putman and the Patuxent Conservation Corp. Families are encouraged to participate.
