Accomplishments

Maryland's Community Parks & Playgrounds Program invests in the future of Maryland's established communities by revitalizing parks and playgrounds statewide. With the support of the Governor and the Maryland General Assembly, a total of $49.9 million has been approved so far, to restore 511 park & playground projects!

• In FY’13, $2.5 million to fund 23 parks and playground projects.

• In FY'12, $2.5 million to fund 33 parks and playground projects.

• In FY'11, $2.5 million to fund 24 parks and playground projects.

• In FY'10, $5 million to fund 66 parks and playground projects.

• In FY'09, $5 million to fund 44 parks and playground projects.

• In FY'08, $5 million to fund 38 parks and playground projects.

• In FY'07, $5 million to fund 64 parks and playground projects.

• In FY'06, $4 million to fund 13 parks and playground projects.

• In FY'05, $5 million to fund 63 parks and playground projects.
